“Enter a baseball coin design contest, and you could be a hit!”
Girls who are learning about financial literacy can get creative and design a coin! The Kids’ Baseball Coin Design Challenge, sponsored by the U.S. Mint, asks kids ages 13 and under to create a coin design that captures the theme “What’s Great About Baseball” and submit an entry online <http://www.usmint.gov/kids/kidsbatterup> . The challenge is open now and runs through May 23. There are three age categories (5 and younger; 6 to 10 years old; 11 to 13 years old). One grand-prize winner in each age group will receive a National Baseball Hall of Fame $1 Silver Commemorative Coin.
