Our adventure begins with an early morning flight to the southwestern US. That evening, we will travel to the Red Rock Canyon for a sunset horseback ride and authentic western BBQ under the stars and make s’mores over a campfire. The next day, we will explore Lake Mead and hand feed popcorn to carp, take an educational tour of Hoover Dam and later tour the International Marshmallow Factory and Ethel’s Chocolate Factory & Botanical Cactus Garden. That evening, we will view an educational program on dolphins and view the pirate ship fight at Treasure Island. The final two days will be filled with more adventure! We will be transported to the Grand Canyon and taken aboard large all-terrain jeeps for a personal tour from a representative of the Hualapai Indian Tribe to learn about the Grand Canyon and visit some of the most spectacular views of the Grand Canyon, including Eagle Point! The final excursion will be an all-day kayaking trip down the Colorado River where we launch from Hoover Dam, explore caves and discover the history of Black Canyon.
