Community Girl Awards Committee Member and Council Girl Scout Gold Award Committee Member Positions and Training are available

 
Do you love working with girls as they pursue Girl Scouts highest awards? 
Girl Awards Committees might just be the perfect volunteer fit for you.

The Community Girl Awards committees will support girls and their adult volunteers as they pursue Girl Scout Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards.  Adult volunteers serving on these committees will become our experts in the field on each of Girl Scouts highest awards.  

The Community Girl Awards Committee will:
  • Mentor leaders as they support their girls as they earn their Girl Scout Bronze Awards
  • Mentor groups and individual girls as they pursue their Girl Scout Silver Awards
  • Review/ approve Girl Scout Silver Awards
  • Mentor girls in preparation for their application and interview for the Girl Scout Gold Award (Girl Scout Gold Awards will still be approved by the Council Gold Award Committee)
The Council Gold Award Committee will:
  • Review Girl Scout Gold Award Applications
  • Interview Girl Scout Gold Award Applicants
  • Evaluate Final Girl Scout Gold Award Project Applications
 
Adult learning opportunites for these positions will be held:
