Every girl should have the opportunity to experience the benefits of Girl Scouting. You can make this happen! The deadline has been extended to April 11,2014, 4:30 p.m. so that girls may invite their friends to join Girl Scouts and take advantage of our council wide recruitment on April 5,2014, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the following malls:
Pembroke Mall, Virginia Beach; Patrick Henry Mall, Hampton; Southgate Mall, Elizabeth City.

Leaders, be a hero to a young girl and “Add-A-Member” to your troop. There are many girls who would like to be Girl Scouts.
Dedicated volunteers like you, play a key role in ensuring our success in offering the opportunity to as many girls as possible to participate in the Girl Scout program. When you add new girls, you extend the opportunity to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. The girls currently in your troop also benefit by welcoming a new friend, while a parent or guardian of any new girls may be able to provide you with assistance at troop activities.
Every Girl Scout who invites a new girl to join Girl Scouts is eligible to receive the “Power of One” patch. The new Girl Scout will also receive the patch. Add three or more girls to the troop and all the girls in the troop (including the new girls) will receive the “Power of One” patch.
If you have already submitted an Add-A-Member form for your troop, you may submit another one for new members added between now and April 11,2014.
