On Saturday, November 23, VOLUNTEER Hampton Roads and the Hampton Roads Corporate VOLUNTEER Council are holding the 15th annual Family VOLUNTEER Day at Virginia Wesleyan College. Volunteers from throughout the community will join together to pack boxes of food for 13 local homeless and domestic abuse shelters and the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia. Girl Scout Cadettes, Seniors and Ambassadors - and/or adult volunteers - are needed to assist with children’s crafts from 9 to 11 a.m. at the event.
