Girl Scout Troop 5073 from Boykins invites Girl Scouts and friends to attend their 4th annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial and Unity March. It will take place Monday, January 20 at Paul D. Camp Community College, located at 100 North College Drive in Franklin. Those interested in participating should gather in the parking lot. The march begins at 8:45 a.m. and will be led by Greg Scott, a Southampton County native and former NFL player. Following the march, Girl Scouts can gather inside the Workforce Center for entertainment and a special message from Greg Scott. This is a free event for all.
Partners for the event include: Paul D. Camp Community College Office of Student Activities, Cover 3 Foundations, First Baptist Church Family, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
