Calling all troop leaders, new and returning, in Community Three. Community Three includes all Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Norfolk, Suffolk, Surry Isle of Wight, Franklin and South Hampton County Service Units! You are invited to kick-off the 2013-2014 Girl Scout year with our first Scouting Your Future Learning Event.
Join us as you browse displays, learn about the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and explore materials that can help you and the girls you mentor. Classes offered include:
- Girl Scout Program Basics (3 hrs.)
- Parents as Partners
- Leading by Letting Others Lead
- Troop Management
- Ceremonies & Traditions
- Ready, Set, Go Camping!!
- Food/Nutrition
- Techbridge (2 hrs.)
- Family Partnership

8:00 - 8:30 Check-in
8:35 - 8:50 Welcome, Keynote
9:00 - 12:00 Concurrent Sessions
- 9:00 - 12:00 GS Program Basics (open to all GS adults)
- 9:00 - 9:50 Session Rotation 1
- 10:00 - 10:50 Session Rotation 2
- 11:00 - 11:50 Session Rotation 3
12:00 - 1:00 Lunch Break (lunch on your own)
1:00 - 4:00 Concurrent Sessions
- 1:00 - 1:50 Session Rotation 4
- 2:00 - 2:50 Session Rotation 5
- 3:00 - 3:50 Session Rotation 6
