Add-A-Leader, Get-A-Pin

This year we are working to bring the Girl Scout leadership experience to 16,640 girls and 7,237 adults.
We believe that you are our best voices to promote the Girl Scout program so we would like each currently registered volunteer to share the experience with one new leader. Everyone knows someone who would be a great fit. With more leaders, we can serve more girls.
If you recruit one new leader, you will receive a recruiter pin. These pins will only be given to those registered adults who recruit another adult leader. The newly recruited adult must be registered and go through the appointment process and leadership training (Quick-starts, Orientation and Leadership Essentials) before the recruiter adult can receive his/her recruiter pin. Get started today and help us reach and surpass all of our expectations! As a team we are unstoppable!
Those who recruit 1- 3 new leaders, will receive a bronze pin. Recruit 4 - 6 new leaders, and receive a silver pin. Recruit 7 or more new leaders, and receive a gold pin.
To earn the pins, referrals must meet these requirements:
  1. The new leader has never been a Girl Scout leader or has not been a Girl Scout leader for at least one membership year
  2. The new leader must become a registered member of our council
  3. The “Add-A-Leader” form must be submitted with the new leader’s Girl Scout’s membership registration to the Council office. The form is available on the forms page of the gsccc.org website under "Add-A-Leader Form".
  4. Once the “Add-A-Leader” form, adult membership registration form, and membership fee are received and the information is verified, the pins will be mailed out.
There are many girls who would like to be Girl Scouts. Dedicated volunteers like you, play a key role in ensuring our success in offering the opportunity to as many girls as possible to participate in the Girl Scout program. When you add new leaders, you extend the opportunity to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place.
Submit this form to your Service Unit Recruitment and Registration Coordinator to be forwarded to the Council office by March 31, 2013.
